The Valiant Soldier - Roadwater
The Valiant Soldier is a friendly, olde world inn situated in the beautiful exmoor countryside.
It is positioned close to the coast and is an ideal stop over for walkers who can stay in the ensuite bed and breakfast facilities .
The picturesque surroundings offer activities and attractions to suit almost every taste including, golf, fishing, historic buildings, water sports and many, many more.
We serve home cooked, locally sourced food 7 days a week.
The Coleridge way is a 36 mile walk taking you through the stunning Somerset country side.
The route was inspired by Samual Coleridge the poet and philosopher who lived in Nether Stowey where the coleridge way begins.
The Valiant Soldier is situated half way along the route and is ideal for an over night stop and well deserved meal!
