The Halfway House Inn Country Lodge is a family run hotel offering lodge style accommodation and is ideally situated for both business visitors and tourists to Yeovil and the surrounding area. Situated beside a new fishing lake, this country lodge provides comfortable, modern accommodation in an attractive country setting, just off the A37.

Located just outside Yeovil in the small village of Chilthorne Domer, this is an ideal spot for both business and leisure guests. Enjoy attractively furnished rooms, equipped with convenient facilities such as Sky TV.

Twenty-one comfortably furnished rooms available including a luxurious Bridal Suite, disabled friendly lodge and family rooms. All rooms have Sky TV, Wireless Internet, tea/coffee making facilities. Well behaved pets are accepted by prior arrangement. AA approved.

Restaurant with varied menu and a well stocked Bar. Paul Rowsell and his team of helpful friendly staff guarantee you a very warm welcome.

The Halfway House offers comfortably furnished lodge style accommodation in the Annex at the rear of the main building. Traditional inn style rooms are also available, situated within the main building. 

Watch Sky Sports over a drink in the traditional bar, before enjoying a home-cooked meal in the restaurant, where locally-sourced food is used to create varied menus.

A function room for up to 120 guests is available, complemented by a barbecue patio with picturesque views of the countryside and lake.

Disabled Facilities:

Most bedrooms at the lodge are on the ground floor, with just one or two steps leading to the front door. 

There are ramps at the rear and side of the building for access to the bar and restaurant.

For a shopping trip, visit Clarks Village at Street, 13 km (8 miles) from the hotel. With easy reach of the Halfway House are the Fleet Air Arm Museum (6.5 km / 4 miles), Nine Springs Woodland (7.2 km / 4.5 miles) and Ham Hill Country Park (12 km / 7.5 miles).

If you fancy a longer journey, the city of Bath, Longleat Safari Park, Monkey World, Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Wookey Hole, Stourhead Gardens and Glastonbury are all within easy reach.
