Just tucked away in Shanklins Old Village, probably the Islands most attractive corner, is where you will find The Braemar.  The Braemar is a family run licensed hotel and is ideally located to offer you all the pleasures of the Isle of Wight whether walking, cycling, using Public Transport or your own car.

Whilst staying with us at The Braemar, you will enjoy the excitement of a top resort with golden sandy beaches offering safe bathing; a beautiful chine which leads down to the beach, speciality shops; a theatre and fantastic countryside which you will want to explore.

Once a Gentleman's residence, built in Victorian Times,our guesthouse was converted in the early 1970's. Combining a mixture of single, double, twin and family rooms.  Our guests are treated to a home from home atmosphere during their stay to ensure the stresses and strains of everyday life are the last thing you think of on holiday.

At the Braemar we offer Bed and Breakfast. Guests have the option of choosing their own eatery in the evening, from the many that are located close by in the Old Village or Shanklin Town. Our cosy dining room also plays host to our superb English Breakfast, which makes sure you are set up for a busy day.

All of our 11 bedrooms offer en-suite facilities and are tastefully decorated and presented to provide a cosy and relaxing retreat after a busy day. All of our rooms have colour TV's, radio and a well stocked hospitality tray. Four poster rooms are available and we also have family and ground floor bedrooms. The hotel also benefits from central heating for those guests joining us out of the peak season.
