Lakeside Lodge was established in 1992 and is owned by the Hopkins family. It is the close personal involvement of the family that ensures a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

Over the years, Lakeside Lodge has expanded to become a popular venue in the heart of Cambridgeshire, offering not just first class Golf but also Accommodation, Tenpin Bowling, Conference/Meeting facilities, Wedding/Civil Ceremony facilities, a Licenced Bar & Restaurant and, as of November 2008, a superbly equipped Health Club.

Golfers and Non-Golfers are welcome, and please remember Membership is not required to use any of the facilities in the complex.

The Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant is open daily to members and non-members. There is an extensive Bar Menu and A La Carte Menu. Last food orders are taken at 9pm with the Bar closing at 11:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:30pm on Sundays.

Sunday Lunch is served from 12:30 intil 3pm and it is highly recommended that you reserve your table in advance.Please telephone 01487 740540.

There are a total of 64 en-suite bedrooms located throughout the complex. Thirty twin rooms, 28 rooms with a double and single bed, 4 double rooms and 2 singles. Five bedrooms are conveniently situated near the main Club House, overlooking the Putting Green or Courtyard. The 20 Fairways Bedrooms are all on the ground floor and are in two attractive courtyard-style blocks, with views down the 12th Fairway.

The remaining accommodation is in seven detached 2-storey Lodges overlooking a small lake. Maple and Walnut each have 4 bedrooms, Pine and Willow each with 5 bedrooms and Oak, Cherry and Yew all have 6 bedrooms. All of the Lodges have a communal living area with sofas and TV.

One of our Fairways twin room’s has wheelchair access and shower & toilet suitable for a wheelchair user. Wheelchair access is also possible to the ground floor bedroom and bathroom in Maple Lodge.

Self-catering is available in some of our Fairways Rooms and also Maple, Walnut , Pine and Willow Lodges. An additional charge of £20 per night is payable for the use of the kitchen, but please note this facility is available only when all of the 4 Lodge bedrooms, or all of the 3 Fairways bedrooms are booked. Any unoccupied bedrooms will be charged at £30 per room per night.

Monday to Thursday - 07:00 until 21:00
Friday - 07:00 until 20:00
Weekends - 07:00 until 19:00

The Health Club is equipped with all the latest 'Life Fitness' Cardio Vascular machines, Resistance Machines and Free-weights, as well as the amazing 'Power Plate' that  will help you to lose weight and tone muscle with the minimum effort!

CV Machines include Steppers, X-Trainers, Treadmills, Upright Cycles, Recum Cycles and Rowers.

Resistance Machines include Leg-press, Leg extention, Adductors, Abductors, Torso Rotation, Chest Press, Shoulder Press and Lat Pulldown. There is also a large selection of Cable machines for various  excercises , free-weights and benches.
