Shetlander Niv and Pauline McRobb would like to offer you a warm Highland welcome. LadySmith Guest house bed and breakfast, is a traditional Highland stone house built in 1888 and situated 100 yards from the pier in a quiet area away from the main street with ample parking.

Our accommodation is extremely comfortable with fresh linen and luxury bathrooms. Scottish breakfasts include award winning black pudding, local free range eggs & kippers from our local smokehouse.

All rooms are equipped with colour TV, refreshment tray & hair dryer. Relax in our south facing garden surrounded by some of the largest trees in Ullapool.

Ullapool is a thriving fishing village which sits at the end of Loch Broom about one hours drive from Inverness. It is also the main ferry port to the Island of Lewis. Ullapool has many facilities including a leisure centre, full sized swimming pool, golf course and a fantastic museum. The area is famous for mountain climbing, hill walking, and for its undiscovered beaches and wildlife.

There are boat trips to the Summer Isles where you can see porpoises and seals and not to be missed is the spectacular Corrieshalloch Gorge which is just off the main road ten miles south from Ullapool, it is guaranteed to take your breath away!
Ullapool is famous for its music scene, it has many musicians regularly playing in the variety of bars, restaurants and hotels throughout the village.It hosts a number of annual festivals including The Loopalu Festival in September and The Guitar Festival in October which bring thousands from all over the country.

The Tall Ship Restaurant offers one of the best dining experiences in Ullapool. The friendly relaxed restaurant is run by Pauline McRobb former owner and Head Chef of The Argyll Hotel Ullapool and of The Aberlour Hotel in Speyside. Her wonderful food is well known and loved throughout the Highlands. The friendly restaurant offers great food in a hassle-free setting with menus and specials board that reflect the freshest local produce and seafood.
