Drem Farmhouse is a large Georgian house set in the picturesque conservation village of Drem, located in the heart of East Lothian, surrounded by golf courses, beaches and within easy reach of Edinburgh.

It is the family home of Hugh and Marlene Smith who welcome their guests for Bed and Breakfast (evening meals available with advance notice). The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated through out with a dinning room , drawing room and a large sun room all over looking the extensive gardens.

Adjoining the main house is 'The Bothie' providing self catering cottage, for up to four people, on weekly basis. What 'The Bothie' has to offer its occupants include:

  • Sleeping accommodation for four people (two twin / double rooms).
  • Modern shower room (incl. power-shower).
  • Large reception room, incorporating kitchen / diner and sitting room.
  • Fully fitted kitchen includes: electric cooker; halogen hob; microwave; fridge-freezer; washer-dryer; dishwasher; toaster and kettle.
  • TV / DVD
  • CD / Radio
  • Private courtyard, with BBQ and garden furniture, with access to large gardens.
  • Cot available on request.
     

The village of Drem is approximately 20 miles east of Edinburgh and the train can be caught into the city from directly across the street, a trip which takes just 25 minutes. Visitors here have the best of both worlds, a tranquil village environment with all the attractions of historic Edinburgh virtually on the doorstep.
