Beachcomber Campsite and Stables - Berwick Upon Tweed

We are a quiet, family run campsite, off the beaten track where you really can “escape” . Situated six miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed, adjacent to the beach at Goswick Sands, which connects with Holy Island at low tide.

There is no through traffic, our nearest neighbour being Goswick Farm,which is half a mile away. The site has a very informal atmosphere, where, apart from our serviced pitches where electric hook-up is available, campers and caravanners can find their “own spot”. Even when full there is still plenty of room on site to spread out, so there is no need to feel on top of each other.

We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind and forget about the everyday stresses of modern living. Here there is a lot of open space, big skies and on a clear night a heaven full of stars. To the south stretches an open view across rolling farmland to “High Cheviot” and other Cheviot hills at the beginning of the Pennine range. Up the coast to the north you can see Lindisfarne (4 miles) and Bamburgh Castle (15 miles)

The site is usually settled down by 11.00 pm and we request that anyone returning to the site much later than this park up on the inside of the gate and walk to their tents to prevent waking others (particulary children!).

Dogs are welcome and we only ask that they are kept on a lead when in the camping area.
